About AjaRay

I Was Born Right In Atlanta, Ga; To Mick & Nanette, As I Begin To Grow I Took After My Daddy With A Need To Lift My Voice And Sing, Sing, Sing...my Mother Took Advantage Of My Enjoyment Of Singing And Set Up A Tape Recorder And Let Me Sing And Record Songs All Day (I Really Liked To Talk A Lot, This Helped) Along With The Imagination You Have To Discover When You're The Only Girl In A House Full Of Brothers...this Brought Out My Creative Spirit...growing Up I Mainly Watched My Dad And Family Singing And Playing Instruments @ My Grandfather's Church...then I Got The Opportunity To Display My Talent In The Sunbeam Choir At The Age Of Nine...awhile Later A Couple Of Childhood Friends And I Started A Group The Sisters In Unity... Where We Sang In Churches And Other Events In Ga...after The Disbursement Of The Sisters I Found Something That I Truly Fell In Love With And It Helped Me Nurture My Love For Entertaining; While Attending Heritage High School I Joined The Women's, Advanced, And Mixed Chorus And Eventually Got Involved In The Theater Program And Thespian Club...that Was Pretty Much All She Wrote.... I Landed Major Roles For Every Play I Tried Out For... After High School I Didn't Do To Much More Then Singing A Couple Bars On My Brothers Music (Royal Blue Suede) Singing At Church, To My Self Or With My Nieces And Nephew. Though That Love...almost Infatuation With Music And Entertaining Never Died....i Found Myself Drawn To Artist With A Real Message For The World, People Who Had Solutions For How To Make This A Better Place, I Began To Really Understand Some Of The Underlying Themes In Their Music...real Music... Which Does Not Always Have To Be Serious...but It Is Always Good!!! So Hence My Path, My Purpose, My Message.... I Feel My Calling And I Dwell In The Opportunity Of Being A Chosen Vessel...and As God Finishes His Work In And Through Me I Ask Of You The Same Thing I Will Give To You ....love , Patience, And Understanding...and A Couple More Things Too....get To Know Me And You Will Know The Rest...peace & Love
